Who chooses what's in the shop?
The two of us who run EMBERVIK — personally. We order samples, smell every aroma with our own noses, wear the textiles through real sauna sessions and read every ingredient list. If we wouldn't use something in our own sauna, we don't sell it. More about how we work on our About page.
Where do you deliver?
Across the European Union, and to the United Kingdom and Norway. Delivery costs and options are shown at checkout.
How long does delivery take?
Standard delivery takes 10 to 20 business days, plus 1–3 business days of order processing. Some items ship from partner warehouses located outside the EU; the delivery estimate on each product page already accounts for this.
A few products — like our cork sauna mats and seat pads — are made by hand by us, in small batches, from Portuguese cork and selected fabrics. These can need a few extra days before dispatch; when that's the case, it's noted on the product page.
Will I get a tracking number?
Yes. Every order receives a tracking link by email as soon as it ships. If an order ships in more than one parcel, you receive a tracking link for each parcel — you are never charged extra for split delivery.
Will I pay customs or extra fees?
For deliveries inside the European Union there is nothing extra to pay on arrival: VAT is already included in the price you see at checkout, and there are no customs charges between EU countries.
For deliveries to the United Kingdom, Norway or any other country outside the EU, your local customs authority may charge import duty or local VAT when the parcel arrives. Those charges are set by your country, are not included in our price, and are payable by the recipient. We declare every parcel honestly and at its real value.
Can I return a product?
Yes — you have 14 days from delivery to withdraw from your purchase, no reason needed, in line with EU consumer law. See our Returns & Refunds page for the exact steps.
What size are the hats, kilts and robes?
Almost all our textiles are one-size with generous adjustability — snap buttons, elastic waistbands, wrap cuts. The exact measurements are listed on every product page.
How do I care for wooden accessories?
Rinse after use, let the wood air-dry away from direct heater radiation, and oil benches and buckets once or twice a season. Each product page has a care note.
Something arrived damaged — what now?
Email contact@embervik.com with your order number and a photo within 48 hours of delivery. We replace or refund damaged items at no cost to you.
