What we collect and why

Order data (name, delivery address, email, purchased items, payment status) — to fulfil your contract with us: processing, delivery, returns and warranty claims. Legal basis: performance of a contract.

Contact data (email, message content) — to answer your enquiries. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

Technical data (IP address, device and browser information, cookies) — to run the shop securely and, with your consent, to measure and improve marketing. Legal basis: legitimate interest and consent.

Processors

Our shop runs on Shopify, which processes order data on our behalf. Payments are handled by our payment providers; we never see or store your full card details. Parcels are delivered by courier partners who receive your name and delivery address. Some suppliers ship directly to you and receive only the data needed for delivery.

Retention

Order and invoice data is kept for the period required by Polish tax law. Enquiry emails are kept for up to 2 years. Consent-based data is kept until you withdraw consent.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete and port your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any right, email contact@embervik.com.
